Design Spotlight – March

Posted on: April 6, 2018

Welcome back to another edition of Design Spotlight. We know that there are so many aspects going into designing your home so we love to highlight different styles to help you envision your space.

Goodbye to the cold and snow; and Hello to the warmth and sunshine of Spring! We want to bring that refreshing feeling of Spring into your home to enjoy even during the cold winter months. Thats why our Design Spotlight for the month is helping you create a Relaxing Refuge.

Don’t be afraid to bring colour or patterns into your home, they not only make your space unique but also are refreshing. We all need that relaxing place to go after a long day. Choose some soft coloured penny rounds to add a spa like feeling to your floor or backsplash.

Bring uniqueness to a room with pattern or shape but still keep it neutral and spa-like with our Living Arts or Soul Collection.

Not sure if you want to stay neutral or bring in a touch of colour? Why not meet in the middle. Our Murales Collection can bring colour, neutrality, or a mix of the two.

Bringing a natural and unique feel to your home doesn’t just have to be with tiles though. Castle Combe hardwood has natural looking fissures to make it look like a reclaimed barnboard. Choose a light colour to keep the soft, relaxing feel all throughout your space.

Want the look of hardwood but not everything that comes with it? Take a look at our lines of Vinyl Planks. You can get the look of real hardwood with the ease of a vinyl’s maintenance.

You can also choose an LVT that has the look of tile but is softer and warmer underfoot and also still completely waterproof! Some are even groutable with a flexible grout to add to the realism of a Natural stone or tile look.

Carpet is also a great choice for bringing warmth and colour into your relaxing refuge. The comfort underfoot cannot be beat by any other product. With the many options of colour and patterns, choosing carpet for any space is a great choice.

You can bring all of your ideas to life at Flooring Solutions; we would love to help you design your home to be a Relaxing Refuge.
